I love this family!  It was great to see them and so fun to get to photograph them.  They are all so beautiful, which made our job easy.  Last minute we set up a tea party for them and they just sat down and it was as if they have tea time everyday {maybe with these two darling daughters they might}.  We spent most of the time laughing instead of taking pictures! It was a cold, windy day, but we still managed to get great striking photos if this beautiful family!

my husband used to sing the song brown-eyed girl to me


but i have blue eyes.


i took issue with this and made him sing
"my blue-eyed girl"


just tonight this song came on the radio while i was driving with my kids and out of habit i changed the words to suit me!


well...
looking at these pictures gives some insight into the inspiration for the song.  i may even sing brown-eyed girl myself the next time i hear it :) 

valentines greetings...

We had fun with our girls taking these pictures of them to make valentines for their classmates.  

taking pictures of pictures is not our specialty :)

together we have four daughters
and they are all sweeties


{we have four sons between the two of us too, but they aren't so much into the valentine thing; we think they are sweet, but they don't always like us broadcasting that, so keep that just between us :) }
